Anticipated Releases
- "Little Thieves" by Margaret Owen : A Germanic fantasy retelling of "Goose Girl," but in the point of view of an unapologetically wicked maid.
- "The Boy With Fire" by Aparna Verna: An adult fantasy book inspired by the author's Indian heritage, plus morally gray characters and themes of power, politics, and religion.
- "Redemptor" by Jordan Ifueko: I was destroyed by the first book of this African-inspired duology. How could you just leave me HANGING.
- "Six Crimson Cranes" by Elizabeth Lim: An Asian-inspired retelling of "The Six Swans" by the Brothers Grimm, complete with an arranged marriage trope, heartwarming family relationships, and talking paper cranes. It doesn't get any better than that
- "Jade Fire Gold" by June C.L. Tan: According to the Goodreads summary, it's "inspired by Chinese mythology, with rich magic and an epic slow-burn romance." Hm, seems interesting. Then the author had to include the list below. WELL OKAY *aggressively adds to tbr*
